FAMILY-FOUNDED IN 2023
Two Sisters, One Studio
VECTORS & ROSES was founded in 2023 by Chrysothemis and Vivi Panousopoulou — two sisters who left corporate careers to build something slower, more deliberate, and entirely their own.
Between us, we bring together ceramics, luxury brand management, business, and multimedia design. We work collectively, using our different backgrounds as a shared tool. The ceramics practice brings the handmade process and the relationship with material. The brand, business, and design disciplines shape how an object is positioned, communicated, and given coherence as part of a brand.
We create ethically made products that are crafted to last beyond trends. As a women-run business, we also strongly believe in giving back to our community and supporting organizations that share our values.
A Studio Rooted in Greece
VECTORS & ROSES began not with a single decision, but with an accumulation of moments. A natural transition. There was always an artistic side in both of us — different in expression, but sharing a common aesthetic foundation. When the timing allowed — professionally and personally — we chose to unite those paths. The need for personal rhythm, handmade work, and substance had begun to outweigh the structured pace of corporate life.
Greece has always known how to make things that last. From ancient amphorae to the hand-painted pottery of island workshops, there is a tradition here of crafting objects that are both useful and alive with meaning. VECTORS & ROSES is our continuation of that tradition — reinterpreted for contemporary spaces, but never disconnected from its roots. Living in Greece, the relationship with light, land, and tradition is unavoidable. We do not copy patterns — we draw feeling and balance from a deep cultural memory.
OUR CRAFTS
Made by Hand, One Piece at a Time.
Every piece in our collection is shaped, finished, and hand-painted in our studio. We work in small batches — sometimes just a handful of pieces at a time — because that is the only way to give each object the attention it deserves.
The hand-painting process is where each piece becomes its own. Patterns are applied freehand or with deliberate, practiced strokes that carry the natural variation of a human hand. No two pieces are identical. A plate from our Grecian Leaf collection will share its motif with its siblings, but the weight of a brushstroke, the depth of a glaze, the precise curve of a leaf — these belong to that piece alone. We consider this variation a feature, not a flaw. It is proof of presence. Respect for the handmade means accepting imperfection, time, and the human mark on the object. Each piece is unique and carries the imprint of its process.
